Everyone went to school once, it’s a roller coaster, we know. If you’re a college student, we are here to make life easy in a very unique time. Greenwood is happy to help you through the process. There are a few things we need from you first, so follow our step-by-step instructions on how to rent from us.

STUDENT DISCOUNTS START AT 10-20% DEPENDING ON EQ SELECTED.

Extended discounts above 20% can be applied to specific clients on a case by case basis.

STUDENT RENTAL PROCESS GUIDE

  • SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER + DOCUMENTS

    STEP 1:

    Using our website. Drop items into your cart and submit your cart.

    After you submit, one of our agents will e-mail you a receipt confirmation.

    If you have a complete gear list, you can send it to us with pick up / return dates rentals@greenwoodcine.com

    STEP 2:

    After order is submitted, you will receive the following docs. Fill these out to set up your account.

    New Customer Form

    Credit Card Authorization

    Sample Certificate of Insurance (COI)

    Rental Contract / Quote

  • REQUESTING INSURANCE + TRADE REFERENCES

    STEP 3:

    After completing the docs to your best of your ability, let our rental agent know what school and program you belong to. You can provide your equipment office or one of your professors as “trade references” if needed. Paperwork must be submitted 24-48 hours in advance of your order.

    If you’re a new customer, please make sure to provide ID. This is the only way that we can confirm you as a new client.

    STEP 4:

    Forward the Rental Contract / Quote and the Sample COI to your school’s designated administrator.

    Once you receive a COI from your institution, please send it to us as soon as received so we can validate the document.

    Once your final quote is finalized, we will require the most up-to-date Rental Contract to be signed.

  • PICK UP EQUIPMENT

    STEP 5

    EQ check-outs happen at 12pm until closing at 5:30pm. EQ pickups (w/o full check-out) are set for 3pm. Please e-mail for earlier pickup requests.

    Earlier or longer checkouts can be scheduled with advance notice and pending availability of the equipment.

    Returns or Check-ins must start before 10am to avoid any late fees. If you know you are going to be late, let us know and we will try to work with you to avoid any fees.

    IF YOUR SCHOOL DOES NOT PROVIDE INSURANCE:

    CC HOLD: If the order is under $10,000 we can place a hold on your credit card in place of an insurance policy as long as your limit will cover the replacement value. Holds can take up to 7 days to clear, keep that in mind.

    RENTING INSURANCE: We always highly recommend that customers have insurance, whenever possible, because it would really suck to be on the hook if an expensive piece of equipment gets damaged. We recommend using our provider Athos Insurance using our insurance application in the footer below.
